The duration between septic pumps will depend on a number of factors including the size of your septic tank, the condition of your tank & septic bed, and the volume going down your pipes. If you have a healthy septic tank and a bed that is draining water efficiently, you can expect to pump it every 3-5 years. Smaller septic & holding tanks will require more frequent pumping based on use.
The first step is locating your septic storage tanks. They are usually located in the front yard and can be found by looking for the green plastic lids. To prepare for your service, ensure any foliage, snow, and other debris is removed so your lids are accessible.
Our team will extend the hose into your septic tank and will use our vacuum sucker to remove all contents from all chambers in your septic tank. We often use a rake to break up any sludge for a more efficient pump. For safety reasons, we will never climb into your tank and neither should you!
Once your septic tank is cleared, we will clean up the area, pack away our hose & equipment, and secure your septic lids. We will send you an invoice for the pump shortly after our service.
