A Septic System Designed for You
Whether you are installing a new septic system or replacing an existing one, we can help you choose the system that is best for you. 1. Planning & Excavation
Before breaking ground, we perform an onsite evaluation to determine the best location for your septic system. We take into consideration the soil conditions for effective drainage, and the proximity to trees & other foliage that could pose a threat to your septic bed in the future. We will support you through applying for permits as necessary. We will excavate the area, digging a hole 5-8 feet from ground level, big enough to fit your septic tank.
2. Installation & Testing
During the installation phase, we will fill the bottom of the septic area with 1-2" of drainage rock to create your septic bed. This allows the water from your septic tank to slowly drain from the pipe into the earth using a gravity-fed method. We connect all plumbing from your building to your new septic tank. A filter fabric is installed above the drainage rock as a precautionary measure to prevent any soil contamination.
3. Backfill & Grading
The last step in the process is to backfill the excavated area with earth to completely cover your septic tank and all piping. We finish off by grading the ground area above the septic system. We will mark where your new septic system is and provide guidance on how to maintain a healthy septic system going forward.
